Sometimes asking for help is the hardest step , but for my daughter, I must.

After months of unexplained fainting, crippling fatigue, and nausea, my youngest daughter was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and POTS. In the middle of seeking her answers, I also discovered I’ve been silently living with the same condition for years.

I’m on disability from other health issues, but nothing has broken me like seeing my daughter face this struggle so young. She needs ongoing treatment and care appointments are over an hour away, and our car, the only lifeline we have, is no longer safe to drive.

We’ve had to hitchhike to appointments, even in the rain, putting ourselves in unsafe situations, because missing medical care isn’t an option. Medical transport is limited, booked weeks in advance, and not realistic when urgent care is needed.

We are running out of options. Every dollar donated will go toward repairing our car and covering critical medical costs so we can get the care we desperately need.

This isn’t easy to share, but I’m doing it for my daughter. For her future. For our survival.
