Marlena's Fund for Sobriety

My name is Marlena, and I'm an alcoholic. I've been trying to get sober for over a year, and this time I know I'll lose my life if I drink again. I'm currently in a sober living house in Houston and have committed to stay here for a year to make sure I stay sober. I'm working a strong program, but I need more help. My goal is to get into Intensive Outpatient Care, but in focusing on my sobriety I'm unable to get a job or insurance. I have a degree in mechanical engineering and know I have a bright future ahead of me, I just need the cousling and support from a group. Sobriety is my number one goal. I'll lose anything I put before it. The cost of my IOP is $3,500, and I only have $500 to my name. As much as I want to work- I cannot get distracted from my sobriety this early. I'm asking for any possible donation that can help me to get the help I need, so I can begin the life I've worked so hard to earn. I want nothing more than to be free of this addiction, and I want to work as hard as possible to fight these demons. That means I have to immerse myself in a sober living, AA, and an IOP. I have been able to make the first two happen and am desperately asking for help with the third. If an addict has touched your life you know how awful and baffling the fight can be, please help me to remove my demons while I fight like hell to stay sober. Thank you.
