Kerry Rossall Memorial

Donation protected

As many of you have learned today, one more star will raise in the sky tonight as heaven gains another angel, Kerry Patrick Rossall. The news of his passing is heartbreaking and most times does not feel like reality just yet. It’s slowly starting to sink in with each post that is made, each photo that is shared from all of his incredible friends that were so fortunate enough to have known him. The support that was demonstrated today was truly amazing and a beautiful blessing. I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that reached out to Kerry’s family and myself today; your condolences and kind words were shared with his family when I went over there tonight and it shed a much needed ray of light during this truly devastating time.

Through the years of friendship I was grateful enough to share with Kerry, I learned so much from him, about life and about myself. All of my fondest memories include him as he played a huge role in my childhood and even a mentor as I grew into an adult. Every time we were together it was another adventure for the books, another story to laugh back on, another inside joke was created, never once a dull moment. Kerry undoubtedly was a brother to me, as many of you could say the same. Someone you could sit on the front porch with, never say a word, and walk away feeling it was the best conversation you ever had. He had such a contagious personality, a true gift for telling his many stories and it deeply saddens me that I am in a position to be writing about him under these circumstances; breaks my heart honestly. I never dreamed this day would come, and most certainly not this soon. How do you sum up someone's life when their life was really only just beginning with a child on the way? How do you say goodbye to someone you thought would never leave? Well this isn’t goodbye..I’ll be seeing you.

In memory of Kerry, I will be hosting a gathering at my house not to mourn a loss but celebrate a life. Both this event and his service are still TBA at this time. Everyone will be kept up to date as we figure things out. A GoFundMe account has been set up in Kerry’s memory to help out his family with the services and arrangements to come. Your support has been outstanding.

Thank you,
Jena
