On Sunday, August 2, my stepbrother, Angel, in Guadalajara, Mexico, and a friend climbed onto a roof to have a couple beers after work. The roof was saturated by recent rains, and collapsed. Both young men were killed. Angel was 21.
Now, my father, Alberto, and his wife, Zamir, are trying to pay for the funeral and deal with this horrible, sudden loss, while taking care of my 10-year-old half sister, Keren. However, my father was recently laid off from his middle school teaching position in Guadalajara due to COVID-19 and dropping enrollment. There is no unemployment in Mexico.
My family is doing what we can to send him some financial help in Mexico, but I am asking those who know and love my family or father to join however they can. I want to ease the burden of funeral and living expenses during this time of grieving. Please be praying for my father, his wife, and Keren, as well. We can't ever fully know why things like this happen. All I know is God gives and takes away, but he is still good.
The burial needs to be this week, because of reasons related to COVID-19, so I am trying to raise funds as soon as possible. Thank you all, and we love you!

El domingo, 2 de agosto, en Guadalajara México, mi hermanastro Angel y un amigo, se subieron al techo de una casa a disfrutar unas cervezas después del trabajo. Había estado lloviendo mucho, el techo estaba saturado, se derrumbió, y murieron los dos jovenes. Angel tenia 21 anos. Mi Papá Alberto,y su esposa Zamir están tratando de hacerle frente no nada mas a esa horrible pérdida tan repentina, y a cuidar a su otra hija Keren, de 10 anos, sino pagar los gastos funerarios. Mi Papá perdió su trabajo de maestro de escuela por falta de alumnos debido a Covid 19.
Mi familia esta haciendo lo que podamos para mandar ayuda monetaria a México, pero estoy pidiendoles a los que conozcan y quieran a mi familia y a mi Papá de asistir con lo que puedan, para aliviar el cargo de funeral y gastos para sobrevivir durante su tiempo de luto. En Mexico no hay ninguna ayuda para los desempleados así que mi Papá no tiene ingresos. Por favor oren por mi Papá, su esposa Zamir e hija Keren. Nunca podremos entender porque sucedan cosas como esas. Se que Dios da y quita, pero siempre El es Bueno.
El entierro necesita ser esta semana debido a la pandemia, por eso estamos tratando de juntar dinero de inmediato.Gracias a todos, los queremos mucho.
