I have started this GoFundMe to help raise money to fund top surgery, a life-saving operation which would change my life unimaginably.

Top surgery is something I have been seeking since realising it as an option, a very monumental realisation which would allow me to live fully in a body which finally feels recognisable, my own. 

The government's escalating and rapid withdrawal of funding to trans-healthcare specifically means that accessing what would essentially be a life-saving operation for me is near impossible through the NHS and privately, without significant financial support.

I am lost and stuck with where to go next with my transition, growing impatient on a waiting list, to discover the clinic had shut down.

An incredibly disheartening reality many trans people increasingly face, the removal of a very fundamental human right, access to healthcare.
