Please pray for the Beatty family!! Matt Beatty has been in ICU since last Saturday with complications from COVID-19 that he and the family contracted 3 weeks ago. He is being transferred to OHSU hospital today to try to better control the blood clots in his legs and lungs. His body isn't producing the cortisol and he's having heart issues. He is still in a lot of pain and can't keep anything down or sleep well since having COVID.
Shayna is trying to hold it together for the family and has been driving for Uber Eats when she can to help make ends meet. Matt had just started his own business months ago working on cars and now there is no idea of how long he will be unable to work.
Doctors are still trying to figure out how to treat Matt and there is no idea how long Matt will be in hospital or if he will need to go to any rehab after being released.
Matt will require Shayna's full attention once released from the hospital and she won't be able to work for a while.
The Beatty family are in need of any financial help you can offer right now while they try to get through these really stressful times.
Also any help with meals once Matt comes home would also be greatly appreciated since Shayna will need to focus all her time on Matt's recovery and regaining his strength back.
The Beatty family have been a huge part of the BMX community and have always been there to volunteer or help out others. Now they are asking for our help.
