Need help with medical expenses

Hello my name is Mark, I'm currently asked to help out a fellow coworker. Just recently my fellow coworker Matthew Davis, had a unprecedented event happen. Late Saturday night in Plainview, TX while he was getting furniture from his old home to move to a new home, were he was struck by a bullet, and lost vision in his right eye, and almost both of his eye. He is currently in lubbock hospital where sadly the doctor had stated; if they were to remove the bullet in the state it is in, that it would damage more of his eye, and anything else where the bullet sitting; Nerve etc... He worked for TDCJ for roughly around 7+ years and even in the current state he want to recover as fast as possible to return to work. He is loved by both is his family from his wife and stepdaughter and from us brother and sisters in gray. I'm making this in order to help out with any and some of the medical expenses, anything and everything would be gladly appreciated thank you.
