My name is Debbie Maya, I'm from Mexico city, and I am currently a senior at Beth Jacob High School of Denver. When I was a baby I lived in Israel for a few months and then went back to Mexico. Since then, I have been wanting to go back to Israel but I never had the opportunity to.
My big dream for the past few years has been to spend a year in Seminary in Israel; to have a stronger connection to my religion, and to grow as a person. Thank G-d an opportunity has been presented to me.
Everyone is given challenges, and the one challenge stopping me from achieving this dream, is my financial status since I support myself.
