John's Recovery from getting hit by suv

Update: John is continuing to recover in a specialized rehab for brain trauma injuries. It's been a very slow process for him. He was in a coma for over four months and is very slowly responding. He's had complications like pneumonia and what not but has come thru those slowly as well. The rehab he's in now doesn't take insurance so it's adding up but so far so good. They want friends and family to visit for stimulation and I go every other to every third day as the gas and tolls add up fast. I work towards anything and every thing we can get for his recovery and so goes on our lives right now. Any help you can offer would be awesome. Thanks. Back ground: As many of you already know, on December 30th, while riding one of our bikes, John was hit by a woman driving an SUV. He was standing at a stop sign when she ran into him. His injuries were critical and extensive. He's still recovering.

He was in Lakeland Regional's trauma ICU for eight weeks and then transfered to Select Specialty's acute long term care and rehab facility in Orlando, where they are working with him to get him back on his feet.

John's got a long and difficult way to go, and the costs are adding up. We need your help.

John and I have always tried to help anyone and everyone we can We are unsure as to any time line for his continuing recovery, but he's making small advances every day.

As you know this type of continued care comes at quite a cost and that's why we are asking for your help.
