Hi, I’m Monique, some may refer to me as Monica. Although I really hesitate to request help due to shame and discomfort, I am in a seriously dire position.

I have dedicated my life and career to working and caring for individuals, children and families. I have as a result likely neglected to care enough for myself paired with next to no familial support. For the past several months I have had significant and painful health issues and multiple stays in the hospital.

In addition to this, a couple of weeks ago I was severely physically assaulted unprovoked by a random person resulting in much pain and physical injury. This again landed me in the hospital. Unfortunately police have not been able to identify or locate the perpetrator or find surveillance. My phone was also sadly stolen.

Because of these recent events and both physical and emotional trauma I have been unable to work or function very well. I’m trying within my abilities to address these issues medically which can be very difficult in this system. It will take time to heal and get back on my feet. At this time I’m kindly requesting any support that can be offered during this difficult time and to assist with undue financial hardship relating to basic expenses and general livelihood.
