Support Nate's Road to Recovery

All donations will ease the financial burden that Nate and Corbie Jones face after Nate's two recent surgeries in Seattle, WA.

Nate and Corbie bravely faced reality at the end of 2024, that Nate would undergo two major surgeries. Surgeries would need to take place away from their home, under the care of a specialist team of Surgeons in Seattle, WA. The first surgery was scheduled for Monday, 1/6/25 to remove a large portion of the giant tumor, behind Nate's ear. Unfortunately, the 12-hour surgery did not go as planned, due to the discovery of the tumor being vascular and aggressive. Excessive bleeding occurred, causing complications. We thank God for being with Nate that day and with his medical team! With these unforeseen complications, the recovery has been harder and much longer than anticipated. Due to the nature of the tumor, Nate's final surgery would need to be urgently completed, instead of allowing time to go home. Nate grew stronger through determination, his medical team, Corbie's care, the care of many others, and your continuous prayers. He had his second surgery to fully remove the portion of the tumor near his brainstem on Friday, 1/24/25. We, again, thank God, because this surgery went smoothly and Nate started rehabbing shortly after! Continued prayers are still needed for Nate's long road to complete recovery. After his trip is made home, he will need to continue to work with Physical Therapists.

As you can imagine, costs have quickly accrued and will continue to rise, due to medical expenses, airfare, the overall cost to temporarily live in Seattle, the loss of their income during their time in Seattle, and the loss of Nate's income while he continues to recover, after his arrival home. Immediate family has been able to contribute some financial support prior to surgery, but costs are much higher than anticipated. Many of you have requested to help financially as well and all donations are impactful. Whether it's money to pay for one of Corbie's hospital meals, daily car rental, or a medical bill, Nate and Corbie are appreciative of your gift!
