Funeral expenses for Jalen Williams

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to type…I’m still processing everything that has happened but I will try my best to explain.

My name is Mariah Williams; I am Jalen Williams’ sister and my family and I are humbly asking for help of any amount to be donated towards Jalen’s funeral services.

Jalen was not only my brother, but a son, a grandson, a best friend, and a father of 2. He was undeniably loved by us, family oriented, hardworking, and inexplicably goofy. However, like a lot of people on this Earth, my brother had his own quiet personal battle against mental health, which started some years back dating to when he started his own family. I feel it would be a dishonor to his memory if I didn’t say that he didn’t speak up, because he did. Like mentioned, he was very family-oriented and he loved his baby boys unconditionally. There were occasions were even my mom and Nanny directed him towards resources and people that he could talk to. He did. He tried and tried and his mental health wasn’t something that had been brought up in bad light for a while now, which is why the sudden news of his suicide has us all numb and empty…

Jalen lost his battle against mental health on July 21st; something that isn’t talked about enough already; something that isn’t taken seriously in men until a tragedy happens. Please please please, don’t underestimate or ignore the signs that lead to this.

While we may never have the peace of knowing what exactly triggered Jalen’s decision, we want to have the peace of knowing he will be resting comfortably and waiting for his loved ones’ due time to join him in the place of our Lord and Savior.

Once again, I am asking that if there’s anything anyone can donate, regardless of amount, it will all be used towards funeral expenses for Jalen. Other ways to help is to please share the link to this fund and spread the word. No one could’ve possibly prepared for this. No one expects this…no one.
