Help Chris Fight Cancer

Please consider helping Chris as he manages the fight of his life. He recently received challenging news of a cancer diagnosis. The cancer is in his throat/tongue and all lymph nodes in his neck. For those that know Chris, you know his large, kind heart and joyful laugh. The one person who always wants others to feel good and be taken care of... well, now he needs some help. He plans to fight hard and beat this, but he will be challenged throughout this journey. Chris lives alone in Raleigh and unfortunately will need to manage a lot of this treatment on his own. He has very limited paid time off and is expected to be out of work for at least two months while undergoing a high level of radiation. Treatment will be 5 days a week for 7 weeks to start. Doctors have warned he will most likely not be able to work during this period due to the stress on his body. He will also be going through chemotherapy at the same time. He has some additional biopsies and will have a port inserted for chemo treatments within the next couple of weeks. The good news is it’s Stage 2 and doctors feel it’s treatable.
