We would like to thank everyone for your help & support throughout Shannon's long battle with cancer. Shannon is turning 31 in march & is a young mum to Alanna who is only 8 year's old. We have recieved devastating news that Shannon's cancer is now stage 4 & Terminal. Shannon is ready for the fight of her life and we as a family are not willing to give up on her. We are in contact with consultants & doctors in Germany, Holland & Spain about alternative treatment plans, they seem positive & ready to help Shannon on this fight. It will be very expensive so we are asking for your help in any way possible big or small please help Shannon on this battle ahead & help us to try and give more time & hope to Shannon, her little girl & family. Shannon has started treament in Galway University Hospital to keep the cancer stable but we have been told it is non curable in Ireland, She will not be able to recieve anymore radiotherapy. Shannon's Cancer started in the breast in 2020, she started Chemo & radiotherapy straight away along with having surgery to remove the breast & lymphnodes from the left hand side, in 2021 the cancer had spread near the Oesophagus, in 2023 they found the cancer had spread again this time along the collar bone & neck area, Shannon has been recieving a targeted treatment called Herceptin throught her journey.
