Hi, my name is Latavia Jackson. I am fundraising for expenses occurred during this difficult time of our lives. On February 18th 2024, my oldest son Martavious Saintal, 14 years old was shot in the head on his brother Jeremiah Roundtree 12th birthday. My son is currently in the hospital recovering from a traumatic brain injury caused by the bullet. This situation has changed the dynamics of my family for the rest of our lives. I am a single mother, working full time to provide for my family. Because of the incident I've had to take off work to go on family medical leave without pay. My bills have now fallen behind.

I am thankful to God my son is still alive, and will be able to recover from his injury. We have a long road ahead. He will need 24/7 care and will come home in a wheelchair. My son before this injury was a student athlete with a bright future ahead of him.

He is a victim of a Haneous act of violence and didn't deserve this. He doesn't deserve to have his future taken away without justice. We need to obtain a lawyer on his behalf.
