Uzima Outreach is a non-profit organization in Nairobi, Kenya. It is a unique twofold ministry reaching out to drug addicts, and the neglected and orphaned children of the addicted in Nairobi, Kenya. Their mission is to reach the lost and dying drug community with the gospel of Jesus Christ, disciple them to Christ-like maturity, and help integrate them back into society to also go and make disciples. Fred Munuku  left his job in a bank to start a school in one of the slums in Nairobi. The school was not safe because of the drug addicts in the area, so Fred began ministring to the addicts and started a recovery program. The addicts had children who needed a place to live, so he began an orphanage. The organization only has enough money to rent space for the children. They have had to move many times. The orphans number around 40. Uzima has  received notice that they must relocate to a facility large enough to adequately house the children before March 1st. It was meant to be a 90 day notice but Uzima did not
receive the notice until just recently. Fred is planning to meet with the Children's Department . Uzima needs a permanent place for the children. They need to buy either an existing building or land and build. Please send whatever you can and send this to your friends.
