Greetings -- My name is Cassie and I am a senior citizen.  In December 2012, I retired and moved from California (l couldn't afford to live on SS benefits alone) to Georgia.  In January 2013, I was diagnosed with Stage IIIc endometrial cancer and my journey began.  I had a total hysterectomy with removal of my ovaries and fallopian tubes. I have had two rounds of radiation and am currently doing my fourth round of chemotherapy. The cancer has metatasized and is now in my lungs. I have an appointment at MD Anderson in Houston however, MD Anderson does not accept my medical insurance carrier but I obtained an out-of-network authorization.  However, I am responsible for the first $10,000 of services received.  Funds are needed for my appointment on February 3, 2016.  This has been a long journey and the fight is not over.  I hope MD Anderson can create a treatment plan based on my specific needs and cancer and would be so grateful if you feel this campaign is worth funding.
