Hello! As some of you may know, my sister’s heart horse, Dewey, has been hospitalized since Sunday. He is currently in isolation at Tufts for peritonitis and anemia. His prognosis is guarded and the doctors are still unsure what is the exact cause of these issues. He is awaiting lab results at this time and has been on IV fluids, IV antibiotics, dextrose, and insulin as he is having severe diarrhea and his anemia continues to worsen. I’m asking for donations on the behalf of my sister and her beloved horse. Any amount helps and we appreciate everyone’s kindness during this stressful time in our family’s lives.
