Hi there! My name is Kat Barry and I am a co-worker of Jane's at Tufts University Dining. Recently Jane has been hit with some medical issues that makes it impossible for her to work. She has already missed many weeks with many more to come. Right now her earliest return date is after the Winter break (mid January) Fingers crossed! I'm asking for donations for Jane and her family. For those of you who don't know, Jane is a single mother with four boys still living at home. Every cent of monies collected will go directly to Jane and her family. Her disability payments are just a fraction of what she and the boys need to pay for rent, bills, food and necessities. Jane is a tireless worker and fighter. She is the Hodgdon Shop Steward for Unite Here Local 26. Every day she battles to make sure that her co-workers are treated fairly. Now she's fighting her own personal battle.
