Love for Junior's!

Greetings!

I'm Ken Jefferson, a long-time customer at Junior's Seafood and friend to owner Abe Hassan and his family. I typically visit the restaurant 1-2 times per week, and if you have ever visited Junior’s, then you know firsthand that everyone who walks through their doors are treated just like family.

A staple in the Jacksonville community for over 45 years, alongside their staff, Abe and his family have not only provided delicious meals at affordable prices, but they have also created a safe and beloved space for all to gather, and have given unselfishly to support many organizations and causes throughout our city.

Sadly, on Thursday, January 13, 2022, a devastating fire destroyed the restaurant --- leaving countless staff members with a sudden loss of employment and income, coupled with the uncertainty of when they'll be able to work again. The pandemic alone has greatly impacted local restaurants tremendously, and with this sudden tragedy, the impact becomes even greater. But with our support, the burden can be lightened, we can help bring hope and know that Junior’s will reopen again.

I’m asking everyone across our community to join me in making this difficult time a bit easier for the dedicated Junior's employees and their families. Let's show how much we care and that no matter what happens, we stand by one another with encouragement, kindness and love for Junior's!
