Newly Single Mom Struggling

Hello, my name is Marti and I've been financially struggling (mentally and emotionally too) since my divorce in November. My 12yo son and I were lucky to find an appt before we were evicted due to my ex not helping pay the bills and leaving me in a lot of debt. I work at our local hospital, trying to accumulate as much overtime as possible while attending online EMT classes for a better, higher paying position in the ER. I'll need to attend my skills week in Seattle, and don't know how I'm paying for that or the costs of testing and obtaining my EMT license.

I've tried all the state assistance programs, and due to them calculating off my gross pay (not what take home) I'm just barely over the max to be approved for any of them. I owe family and friends money as I'm so thankful they were able to help with moving expenses and helping make our Christmas happen at all for me and my son.

I'm struggling to pay rent, utilities, and food at our new place, pay back the debt left from my ex, and pay back the generous people who've already helped me. This is my last resort, asking people who don't know me or my amazing son to help us. I need help to get back on my feet as I just need to get the debt from my old life paid off so I can start my new life, making a better, happier life for my son and I.
