Family, Friends, Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Our family of 5 has had a tragic life occurrence. Thomas Rocha a father of 3 children lost his job over 1 year ago and has not been able to find employment to care for his family. This father found himself in an overwhelming sense of life in caring for his 2 severely intellectually and physically disabled children as well as a wife who has mental disabilities as well. Thomas felt like there was no way to provide and care for his family. Overwhelmed by the health care of his 2 handicapped children and wife and mounting bills. After a long battle of failed efforts to provide and care for his family, Thomas felt like he was in the darkest place of his life and could no longer bare the pain and hurt of it all. Thomas wanted the daily overwhelming pain and hurt to end and he overdosed on prescription medication. Thomas was rushed to the hospital where he was placed in ICU on a ventilator as doctors began efforts to detox from the overdose. Thomas is now in physical therapy and expected to fully recover. Thank You Jesus!

Thomas has 3 children: Esperanza age 2 yrs old, Jeremy age 5 yrs old and Michael 8 yrs old.
