I am sure that everyone is aware that a staple in downtown Ridgeway is closing at the end of January.  Over the last few years, it has become increasingly difficult to make ends meet at Woody's Supermarket.  Competition, rising over head costs, etc., is making it tough to keep the doors open spending more than what's coming in.  Billy Wheeler and Woody's Supermarket has been an important part of this community for over 35 years.  He is always supporting community by sponsoring ball teams, supporting the Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Department, the Ridgeway Rescue Squad, Magna Vista High School, Drewry Mason Elementary School just to name a few.  Its time that the community stand up and support Billy and the store.  During the final two months we are looking to assist Billy and Woody's with rent and power, his two biggest expenses.  Its the season for giving and time for us to give back to someone who has graciously and unselfishly given to us for decades.  Help us Keep the Lights On!
