Dear Family and Friends,
I am so excited to share with you all about my very FIRST missions trip I will be attending in late September of 2017 with Youth with a Mission (YWAM). I will need your help raising $7000 to make this trip possible. The money will cover schooling, housing, food, and travels for me to go on this trip.
I am so excited to be able to go and spread the love of God all over the world!!! I want the people I have a chance to serve to know that God has not forgotten them… loves them deeply… and desires to know them.
YWAM is a global movement of Christians dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. They unite in a purpose to know God and to make Him known.
Every year they take thousands of students from all over the world who come together to grow in their walk with God and strengthen the gifts that He has given us.
My trip will take place from September 2017 - Febuary 2018
The specific DTS ( Discipleship Training School) that I will be going on is called Photo-Storytelling DTS. The first 3 months will be spent in Discipleship Training School and the last two months will be spent on outreach in a country serving and using our gift in practice. This experience will be life giving and life changing for all of us. There are many reasons why I personally feel called to serve on this mission trip. I have a passion for both God and photography. In this DTS I will be learning and equipping myself to use photography and storytelling to communicate, to advocate on behalf of others and to use social media as a tool for His kingdom.
This DTS is a 5-month course that will challenge and sharpen my walk with God! The heart of this DTS is to cultivate a life of intimacy with Christ while being equipped for effective and powerful communication. I want to be a voice of what God is doing in the nations through photography and writing!
Your donations will play such a huge part in the impact that will happen through this mission and I look forward to the growth and the amazing things God is going to do through this trip. I am more than glad to share this journey with you and have you all be a part of this.
