My name is Douglas Alford. I am hosting this account for a very wonderful, beautiful and loving friend. Her name is Kacy Nguyen and is a single mother of 5 year-old twin boys, who love their mother very much and are now very worried about her. She was recently diagnosed with 3rd stage malignant colorectal cancer and the prognosis is not a very good outlook at this time. Her treatment consisting of both chemotherapy and radiation therapy is due to begin, and since she is currently out of work and will be unable to work unless her treatment is successful. She had to purchase private insurance but her insurance has told her they will pay very minimal for this treatment and not even for the whole daily procedure that will last for 8-10 months.  Her treatments consist of chemo and radiation together everyday for 5 1/2 weeks. Follow by colorectal surgery to remove the 5cm mass tumor which will result in having a temporary ileostomy. After surgery she is to continue her Chemo treatment for another 6 months. Once chemo treatment is completed Kacy is to have another surgery to reverse her colostomy (take down of the ileostomy).  Her friends and I are helping all we can and this fund is part of that help. So we are asking for first and most important is a lot of prayers.  And secondly is whatever financial help you can provide. No matter how small the amount every donation is greatfully and thankfully appreciated.
