Long story short, Claire has been dealing with a severe pain in her leg and back for nearly a year that has recently lead to her not being able to stand more than 20 minutes. She found out she has an extremely herniated disc and is at risk of potentially losing function in her right leg and foot due to the disc crushing her sciatic nerve if she doesn’t have surgery soon. Luckily, she is scheduled for surgery in early December and the success rate of it eliminating this debilitating daily pain is very high. But since Claire is uninsured, the cost of this surgery is $10,000 and is due in full before the surgery, and it does not include the price of physical therapy she’ll have to do after the surgery.

Claire has been our best friend for about 8 years, and we know her as one of the most kind-hearted, giving, strong people we know and also one of the most stubborn in asking for help, so we’re doing it for her! Claire has been touring a lot lately, and we are proud beyond words to see her work so hard to do what she loves despite this physical pain she’s been dealing with, and of course she does it humbly and gratefully.
