It's with a very heavy heart to announce that we found out last week that my sister Jessica has been diagnosed with APL acute leukaemia. Everything has been happening so fast... she has been admitted to the hospital for the next month so she can start treatment and fight this, like we all know she can... of course with being diagnosed she is unable to work, she has been advised of the medication she needs to take and keep taking for a minimum of 8 months... this also means she will be off work for at least a year. These medications are costly and unfortunately not all covered with her insurance. The last thing I feel she should be worrying about, are her finances and how she will pay all of her bills while receiving treatment. I'm starting this fundraiser to try to take away some of her stress... all she should be focusing on is getting better! No amount is too small, every little bit will help. We would like to thank you in advance for the support. Jessica would love to receive messages but for now we ask that calls stay to a minimum so she can focus and getting better and she will return to reply to messages when she is up to it.
