On behalf of the Wences family and Mayra Quintero mother to Ruth Wences. It brings me huge grief as an older sister, to extend outwards to reach the community in this time of need.
Ruth was only 21 yrs old, when her tragedy happened on February 15, 2022. The incident is still under investigation. The only information I have to share is that it occurred in the afternoon near Rundberg area. She was traveling North bound on I-35. It is unclear at this time what caused the incident with no other vehicle involved at the arrival of scene. Whether a human error on her part or someone swerved her off the road or possibly a miss fire with her car? The car rolled off the highway, ejecting her out the front windshield in the process. It is believed that she was not wearing a seatbelt. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. She unfortunately could not sustain her injuries and passed away not long after.
She was a bright light and always willing to help. At this time I humbly ask the community for help. Condolences, donations, and Prayers are all welcomed. She is remembered by her mom Mayra Quintero, Brother, Father, nephew, my self, and her significant other, and everyone else that had a chance to meet her optimistic personality and her bright beautiful smile.
GONE TOO SOON FOR OUR SELFISH WANTS AND NEEDS. SHE IS HOME NOW IN GODS KINGDOM WITH NO PAIN. FOR THAT WE ARE GRATEFUL THROUGH THIS PAIN. MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.
