Missions Trip to Israel
Donation protected
God has given me the amazing opportunity to serve on a one month missions trip to Israel. This would take place from May 15-June 9, 2020. This opportunity would allow me to see the places where our Lord walked, and to minister to the people that know about Christ, but do not recognize Him as the Savior that HE is. I have loved missions since as long as I can remember. I went to Zambia, Africa last summer. I have always wanted to see Israel and I have the opportunity to go through Shalom Ministries with Dr. Craig Hartman. This trip will be a month long and will consist of ministering in New York for a week and then going to the Holy Land. We will then spend four weeks in Israel, spending time in 3 congregations and ministering in different ways to the community.
Would you prayerfully consider supporting me in my journey towards reaching those who have not heard the Gospel? (Rom 15:20)
More details:
The first week will be involved with classroom meetings in the
mornings to study various topics from the Bible that will aid in better
contextual Bible study. The afternoons will be primarily dedicated to
street witnessing and outreach to the many cultures living in NYC. The
evenings will be spent preparing for various ministry opportunities that
we will be involved in when we get to Israel.
- We will then spend just under 3 weeks in Israel. While in Israel we
will visit the Biblical sites and have many hours of instruction in
Bible study and Bible geography, and we will worship and assist 3
different congregations in a variety of ways. Some of the ministry
opportunities that we have been involved with in the past include:
-tract distribution
-music ministry at churches
-cleaning and painting a new wing in a mental hospital run
jointly by Jews and Arabs
-landscaping and repair work for a Messianic day school
-food distribution to the poor and refugees
-cleaning sections of the Jordan River
-fruit gathering/harvesting for the needy
-assisting unbelievers in the operation of their olive farm
-open air singing and evangelism
Thank you !!
