My name is Kiana, one of Veronica’s daughters, and I’m writing this in hope’s of giving my mom the memorial she deserves. My mom was the strongest, most caring, and overall most beautiful and best person I have known and I know so many people would agree. Monday, December 16th she went into the hospital for what we just assumed was stomach pains that would be resolved in a few days. Over the course of the week, things worsened and she had an exploratory surgery which turned into an open procedure. We had hoped her body needed some time to heal but that was not the case unfortunately; her body was suffering and our last efforts had not worked. On Friday, December 21st around 2:30 AM she was finally reunited with my brother Tyler while we were all by her side. This was an incredibly sudden loss that we had never prepared for and we are finding it more difficult than expected to set up arrangements. Any type of contribution, whether small or large, is be greatly appreciated. We love you so much mom and we cannot wait for the day we are all reunited.
