In September 2019, my husband, Dave Adams, was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma (brain cancer) and underwent surgery to remove the tumor in his brain. Surgery was very successful and recover was initially wonderful.
In early December, Dave had a major set back that put him back in the Neurology Ward due to uncontrolled focal seizures and facial tremors. It is believed that this is a result of swelling in the brain from Radiation and Chemotherapy.
Life had been returning to a more normal state and is now again in a bit of chaos. Dave is self employed as an Integrity Inspector for Oil and Gas. While some of his work can be done from home, much was being done in the field with on sight inspections. This set back in recovery has negatively impacted his ability to get back to a semi normal state of providing support for his family consisting of a wife and two young boys.
There is still a lot of treatment to go with more chemotherapy and much more unknown due to the set back. Funds raised will go towards maintaining funds to cover the household bills and any other accumulated debt as a result of the hospitalizations and inability to work for an undetermined amount of time.
Any help is appreciated and there are other ways in which we are happy to receive help. Please message me if you would like to help in another way.
