The Alvarez Family

It is with our deepest sorrows to say that Jenifer has lost her battle to cancer after five very courageous years. We are all deeply saddened by this loss and our hearts are simply broken. She is irreplaceable, deeply loved, and will be greatly missed by all those whose life she touched.

Jenifer was the wife of our coworker and friend, Ryan Alvarez, and the loving mother of their two boys, Ryan Jr. and Lukas. Ryan is one of the most amazing human beings I have had the honor to meet. As a fellow Championite said “he is infectiously joyful” - as are their two sons. Throughout this long battle, the Alvarez family always kept their hopes high and shared their beautiful smiles wherever they went.

Unfortunately, we are all touched by cancer in one way or another. Ryan and their boys need our help through this grieving time and in the years to come. We are asking for help to raise money for funeral expenses, medical expenses,  to start college funds for Ryan Jr. and Lukas, and to assist with anything else the Alvarez family may need to        help get them through this difficult time.

We love you, Ryan! We will always be here for you. You always say that you’re blessed to know us, but really, we are blessed to know you.
