Help My Mother Fight Against Cancer!

This GoFundMe is set up for my precious mother Patricia Youngblood, to assist in her fight against Cancer. She's the lovely woman to the left in the photo displayed, to the right is I her daughter whom is writing this. We are in urgent need of any kind of help during this time. I would like to thank you for coming to our page and reading her story below.

Pattie is a wonderful and strong woman whom tries her hardest at everything in life, an amazing mother and dearest friend to many. When we received the news, it was devastating to our whole family as no one wishes to ever hear these words. Thankfully her cancer is curable but the battle will be difficult on her in many ways.

She's currently battling against stage 3 cervical cancer with multiple masses found, along with a nephrostomy tube through her back for her kidney. She is undergoing 5 hour chemotherapy once a week and radiation therapy 5 times a week. She began these treatments at the start of December and will continue to do so throughout January of next year. She will most likely be needing a total hysterectomy surgery next year to keep the cancer from returning, along with seeing if her kidney is still salvageable.

We live in a small town in South East Texas, so to receive her treatments she has to travel 5 days a week to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas which is a 4 hour trip there and back (8 hours of driving total) and this doesn't even include her time with doctors or sessions. This makes it very difficult on her body, car and gasoline. We're lucky to have some family members whom take her for some of her treatments in their vehicles as to ease some of the burden on her own car since it is quite old.

We're reaching out on this platform for help during this rough and painful time for her and our family. Donations would go to medical bills for her treatments, her medications, gasoline for treatment travels, house bills, etc to keep our family afloat.
