As I sit here writing this I’m dying inside, I’m shocked, I’m in disbelief, angry, sad, every emotion you can possibly feel. My family and I feel the lowest in life right now, BIG loss for our family.

My dad has been in and out of the hospital for 15 years, due to his kidney disease. Each time in the hospital he beat the odds and made it home. My dad went to the hospital last Tuesday because he wasn’t feeling well. The next day he never woke up and they put him on a ventilator. My dad was not reacting to any medication, and was not responsive. Test after tests the doctors couldn’t figure out why. Every day he had a very small amount of progression, but it just wasn’t enough.

Today our family gets an update that he won’t ever wake up again, in other terms his brain is not functioning anymore. He can no longer breathe on his own and needs the ventilator. The doctors say there is no more they can do for him.

My dad is the best dad in the world, best Grandpa, Husband, Uncle, Cousin, and a Friend. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers as we get close to saying our goodbyes. Any proceedings are appreciated or even sharing the post to help our family raise money during this tough time.
