Sherman Farms & Gentle Giant Great Pyrenees Rescue — a mountain-side haven where yaks, llamas, goats, and rescued Great Pyrenees can live safely, freely, and with purpose. Right now, we’re still in Nebraska, working toward our next step — purchasing land in Fairplay, Colorado, to establish a self-sustaining, family-run farm and animal rescue that honors both family legacy and community compassion.

 We envision a 35-acre property nestled in the high Colorado mountains — open pasture for our herd, cozy shelters built by hand, and wide, snow-dusted fields where our rescued Great Pyrenees dogs can roam and rehabilitate. Each structure will serve a purpose — barns for the animals, safe kennels for the rescues, and a small family farmhouse powered by solar and mountain sun. This dream is rooted in love, legacy, and purpose — named after our late family member Jay Sherman Main, whose heart for animals and family inspired it all.

 We are asking for your help to purchase land in Colorado and begin the first phase of building this farm and rescue.
