Help A Combat Veteran Acquire A PTSD Service Dog

Donation protected
Hello, My name is Jay. I am a combat veteran living with PTSD. I served in the Army for 9 yrs before being medically discharged. During my 3 combat tours in Iraq, as a truck driver, Roadside IED's (Improvised Explosive Device's) were a everyday event. As you can imagine driving is a challenge for me yet a daily requirement for day to day living.

I was lucky enough to have a service dog named Rosie. After more than 11 yrs together, Rosie passed away. Since losing Rosie, I find I am in a constant triggered state. This means I am hyper alert, and find it very difficult to calm down or relax.

I have been struggling to get a new "lightning rod" as my wife liked to call her. However, the $10k-$30k (animal + training) cost is more then I can gather on my own. For me, asking for help does not come naturally, but these last months without my friend have been almost more than I can bare.

Please consider donating just $20 to help me to get a new support friend. Every little bit helps! I am forever grateful for any help provided.
