St. Petersburg lost a child to a case of senseless violence when Trevion was murdered this weekend two weeks after is 15th birthday.
I have the fortunate experience of coaching Trevion in youth sports for over 5 years. We volunteered to coach for the very purpose of reaching the hearts and minds of children like Trevion. What we got in return was a true gift in life as Trevion touched MY families heart and mind.
Trevion was a tireless competitor who displayed all the talents needed to a very productive member of our community. He was smart, kind, unselfish with an amazing spirit and an attitude of a winner. His smile was infectious.
Unfortunately, Trevion 's short life was a hard life. Despite the efforts of many, he was a victim of the environment that fosters violence and loss with a complete disregard to humanity. He deserved better.
Please help me in providing assistance for the direct funeral and burial expenses that his family has limited ability to cover.
