J Crushing Cancer
Hi everyone,
On August 27, 2024, I received devastating news that at the age of 36, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. You can follow my journey on Instagram at @jcrushingcancer.

The story so far...
After experiencing intermittent paralysis in my left forefinger and thumb for several weeks, my GP sent me for what I thought would be a routine CT scan. That day marked the beginning of a whirlwind of hospital stays, specialist neuro-oncology appointments, MRIs, CT scans, and a brain biopsy. This journey involved dedicated teams at both Ipswich Hospital and Addenbrookes Hospital.
On September 12, I learned I had a grade 3 astrocytoma, a rare and aggressive brain tumour. The treatment plan included radiation and chemotherapy, which would help slow tumour growth but not cure it. I was told that, on average, patients with this diagnosis survive 3 to 5 years.
Unfortunately, on October 11, after further molecular testing, my tumours were reclassified as grade 4, which changed my prognosis to 1 to 3 years.
Despite these challenges, I remain committed to fighting this battle with positivity and determination. Your support means everything to me as I navigate this journey. Thank you for being a part of my story.
Your generosity allows me to live with cancer and continues to be used for the following
- HBOTS
- Recommended suppements
- Alternative therapies
- Travel to appointments
- Potential for further treatments
