Izzy has miraculously exceeded his life expectancy of 8–9 years. When he reached his milestone 13th birthday, against all medical odds, we raised funding to commission a Torah scroll to be described in his honor, celebrating this most auspicious occasion.

Given the lamentable progression of this homicidal disease and forlorn degeneration of his medical status, we were strongly advised by preeminent religious and medical professionals to relocate to South New Jersey, where Izzy would be eligible to receive 24 x 7 nursing, which was no longer desired, but unequivocally required.

In compliance with Rabbinical guidance, we were instructed that Izzy's Torah belongs wherever he resides. Therefore, we are currently planning the re-inauguration of Izzy's sacred Torah Scroll, which will be celebrated by the entire Tallymawr Toms River community. We are graciously accepting sponsorships to allow us to defray some of the financial expenditures involved.

With G-d’s continued benevolence, we anticipate, be at the will of His Eminence, to celebrate Izzy's birthday/re-inauguration of his Torah scroll on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Details to follow.
