Izzy was born with a rare genetic neurological disease, which we found out about, shortly subsequent to his third birthday. Although his disease is progressive, degenerative, and irreversible (i.e. fatal), we continue to view him as an unequivocal blessing, albeit one which comes with an excessive amount of financial expenses. Although medical insurance covers most of Izzy‘s medical expenses, there are those expenses which we pay out of pocket. Additionally, Chani has been  unable to be gainfully employed , as she tends to Izzy during the days. Therefore, we have an annual summer campaign, to procure funds, which will partially defray some of our exceedingly high medical expenses. 

This is Izzy‘s story, and we are fortunate to have an angelic-human, residing in our humble residence!
