Izzy's National Invention Convention 2019

Hello and thank you for reading our request for help! This Gofundme is for Isabella Leonard to help fund her trip to the National Invention Convention at the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit at the end of May.
Long story short, Izzy won the local Barrington Invention Convention, then, amazingly, also won the regional invention convention. She qualified for the most creative and unique invention in the 4th grade category. Her invention, the Food Defense System 2000, is clearly getting some positive feedback.
What is the FDS 2000 you ask? Well, have you ever had your food stolen? Has someone ever eaten your treats? So why are we doing this Gofundme? The trip is very expensive. There are over $600 in registration fees plus flights and hotels for the 4 day competition and unfortunately, we can't afford it. We had no opportunity to prepare and save up, as we just found out a couple weeks ago. We also can't say no!
I feel like this is an opportunity for Izzy that we simply cannot pass up, so I am determined to make it happen any way I can. So please, keep me from selling my organs on the black market or joining a drug cartel to help pay for this. All kidding aside, we've been through a heck of a lot over the last year or 2 and it is a little embarrassing to have to ask for help, but we need it.
