Izzy Murals

We are raising this money for two murals in memory of our beloved friend Lauren "Izzy"Irizarry. 

Laurens long time friend, Nicole Salgar, will be leading the mural projects in Bushwick, NY, as well as New Orleans, LA. 
New York was home to Lauren and her many friends and family.
New Orleans was Laurens favorite city, and every visit she spent there she never wanted to leave. 2018 she was able to spend her favorite holiday, Halloween, in the Big Easy. It was a place she always wanted to call a second home, and she had a big group of friends and family there. 
The murals will be a beautiful portrait of Lauren, along with a message about mental health awareness.

We are asking for help in funding of these projects and also help in finding a wall in New Orleans, LA. 

Nicole has secured a 14ft x 40ft wall on Waterbury St, right off the Móntrose stop on the L train. She has booked her flight to NYC for September 25 and is planning to book her New Orleans trip immediately after. 
Our timeline is to hopefully have these done by Halloween, as that was her favorite holiday. 

Please note that Nicole will be doing these murals at no charge. All of the money raised will be going to materials, travel, and scissor/boom lift rental.
