On March 15th/23, unforeseeably Izabelle Nyota Kitenge suddenly passed away due to natural causes. Her passing has dramatically impacted the countless number of people who loved and adored her.
Izabelle, a mother, daughter, sister, aunty, friend, and partner! She was an angel walking this earth. She emulated real laughter, overwhelming joy, and the importance of being a protector and provider for her daughter and family. Izabelle expressed her generosity by giving without expecting anything in return.
Izabelle was the third of nine children to Mama Bibi. Raising 9 children as a single Mother. Mama Bibi is known for her deep love for her 9 children. With no family, in Canada, she found strength in her Faith, Church, and Congolese community to give all nine of her kids the best life possible with unconditional love, happiness, and support.
Mama Bibi ensured her children understood the meaning of hard work, and education. Izabelle graduated from York University studying Woman’s Studies, and Business Finance/Communications. And In 2021, she began working her dream job in business finance.
While just kickstarting her new adventure, she was blessed with her first child Seriyah Teresa Braveboy, born July 19th, 2022. Izabelle loved and adored Seriyah and her partner Kellon. Her family and friends called her the “detective”, as anyone holding Seriyah would be secretly watched and hovered by when they didn’t expect Izabelle to be in the room. A true guardian angel. Her natural protective instinct made her an amazing mother. Besides being a Mother, she was genuinely the happiest person. But her happiness can only be complete with her best friend/sister Mireille. Together, a perfect storm. In the presence of them two, you were either laughing, or laughing until it hurts. A true loss for Mireille Kitenge and the family.
With such a sudden and unexpected passing, Mama Bibi and her nine kids are asking for help in burial expenses and funds for the care of Seriyah. We are all devastated by Izabelle’s passing, and we are not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Izabelle the memorial she deserves, to honour her memory and say our last goodbyes.
Thank you for your support and contributions.
Tell your loved ones you love them, hold them tight, and continue to spread kindness and prayers.
