Veteran Dad & Grandpa's Transplant

Donation protected
This is for my dad.  He's 65 years old, working a 40 hour a week job in RV's and is 30+ year fan Concord Football and Basketball (which his grandson plays both) as well as a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Which brings us to the reason he needs our help.
He's been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma as a direct result of his service to our country.  He has not been able to get disability for this as of today and we are not sure he will.  He was diagnosed in August of this year and started chemotherapy in September.  He is responding well to this and is now a candidate for one of the newest treatements available, a bone marrow transplant.  When successful (because IF isn't in our vocablulary) he will be in remission and has a chance for a longer, healthier life.  In order to do this, he must take 4 months off of work and spend 5 weeks of that at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
My mom will be staying there with him and they will need financial help for their insurance coverage, house bills, living expenses and any other items that may become necessary as he enters this procedure.
He finally told me the one thing he wanted for Christmas was to watch his only grandson play basketball for his high school team this year.  But I want him to see him play every game of football and basketball for the next 2 years his grandson has left of high school!  Let's do this for him.
