Intercultural youth Scotland (IYS) is a grass roots, youth led charity in Scotland. We are the leading organisation to deliver evidence of meaningful and genuine engagement and impact for Young Black, Indigenous and People of Colour Scots (BIPOC) in Scotland.
We leading in Youth Anti-Racist Activism and Anti-Racist education in Scotland and services. We deliver crucial, effective and culturally appropriate youth provision for 13 - 24 year olds, making an impact on fairness in employment, positive destinations through the vehicle of performing arts and events.

IYS Youth Ambassadors have been campaigning for the last 2 years on their lack of basic human rights in Education and been facing daily racist incidents and attacks, when reported those who are supposed to protect them often dont follow basic procedures often resulting in the victim getting suspended.
IYS has a youth team and volunteers from over 40 Nationalities who are just waiting work in the schools with fellow allies, to decolonise the Eurocentric curriculum and pedagogy and stop hate in schools.
We are also wanting to support victims and work as advocates to be persistent and get a positive result, in a whole school youth led approach.
