Mom's battle is almost over.   As many of you know, mom (Vanessa Liles) has been battling Pancreatic and Lung Cancer.  Her battle started in September of 2013.  In fighting this terrible disease, mom lost her ability to work as well as her health and life insurance.  

We are asking for the help of people who love her and love us in this difficult time.  Mom loved in a very different way.  She loved in the tough love way.  But there was no doubt about the intensity of her love.  She loved working.  It was very disheartening for her to quit working.  The people there were her second family.  

 We would like to send mom home beautifully and with digninty.  Your gratitude, love, kindess and prayers are appreciated during this Christmas season.  

Mom, is at Hospice Austin's Christopher House in Austin.  Soon, she will be able to rest.  The battle is not ours, it is the Lord's.
