Sophia's Medical Expenses..

We are the grandparents of a beautiful two year old, her name is Sophia. This is her story. At two weeks old, my daughter noticed a few things that seemed wrong. Mom thought Sophia was either blind, deaf or both. It turned out that she is legally blind. Sophia sees multiple peditactric specialists, she recieves five different therepies throught out the week.   Sophia is not able to sit, crawl, roll over,  walk, stand and is unable to use her hands. Her trunk control is very poor, she has poor head and neck control.  Sophia is 100% dependant on her caregivers. Sophia has been 20 pounds for over a year. There has been several  admissions to Albany Medical Center,  located  in NY, after haveing a g-tube placed she was transfered to The Childrens Hospital in Boston, MA.  where she is still recieving treatment and futher testing.  Sophia has just recently returned from  a 19 day addmission in Boston, with all the providers beng out of network.   With the providers being out of network the bills have started to  acculmate. My husband and I set up a "Third Party Supplemental Medical Account at the First National Bank of Scotia” in Scotia NY, for uncovered expenses.  With your help any donations will help off set and relieve the fininicial stress .
