My name is Jen and I am currently serving as children’s and small group ministries pastor at Streamline Church in Sacramento. In October of 2015 I had the life changing opportunity to head out to Southeast Asia with an amazing team. Together, with the local team, we worked to establish real life connections with children in different homes and centers, and with their families. I learned how to say “Hello!” - (ming-lah-bah), and “Thank You!” - (Jey-Zu-Tim-Bah-Dey).

Upon our arrival back home in America, I realized I had left something in that village across the river … my heart.

I am proud to say that in January of 2018, I will be hopping on a plane with an amazing team of people to travel for 28 hours with one goal in mind - to love the people of Myanmar.. I am beyond excited to return to a people that I have fallen in love with, and to reconnect with friends I have made, to see how much the children have grown, but most of all to sit and share a cup of tea, conversation, games, and a whole lotta love with new friends.

You may be asking, “How can I help?” Well, let me answer that for you. While I know that we cannot all jump on a plane and head overseas, I am asking for you to partner with me, on whatever level you feel the Lord is leading you. My financial goal is to raise $2,500 by August 31, 2017!

Thank you so much for your time in reading this lengthy letter. I would apologize for being wordy, but it’s simply who God has made me to be. And as for you? I celebrate who God has created you to be and am thankful for your presence in my life. Remember: God has a good work for us all to do, so run with boldness towards the goal that He has placed in your heart and be encouraged -- do not become weary in well-doing.
