I am the founder of a spina bifida organization in Kansas. Ivy's Mom reached out to me today asking to donate her spina bifida event tickets to another family. I replied that I was really looking forward to seeing Ivy and her family next weekend, was everything ok? Never did I expect her to say her sweet little 9 year old daughter had passed away unexpectedly this morning. HEARTBREAK & DEVASTED is how I felt - can you imagine what Ivy's mom is feeling right now? Our spina bifida community is amazing and now it's time to do what we do best & SUPPORT this hurting family.
