Hello, my name is Sophie, ive set up this go fund me to help raise funds for my sister in law, brother in law & thier family while Ivy is back in hospital for the 3rd time while fighting the E-Coli infection. The money raised will give them a bit of breathing space with daily living as they are both self employed and having to take time off of work to ensure Ivy and her brother and sister are properly cared for.

Many local people will know her mum Kim Foster as their lovely local hairdresser who would go out of her way for anyone & her dad Oliver is a local taxi driver. Unfortunately both parents are now worrying, and are concerned about their future with their long standing self employed buinesses, as clients have been let down multiple times which is obviously causing a lot of stress and anxiety.

Ivy first contracted E-Coli during a family visit to Mudeford Quay, paddle boarding and was first hospitalised on 11th August to Poole Hospital. She has unfortunately been readmitted twice since, with high temperatures & sickness, most recently in the early hours of this morning, resulting in lots of tests and scans and poor Ivy has had multiple canuals put in her hands to ensure constant access for IV antibiotics, fluids and medications.

Ivy is obviously very poorly with this infection, which has affected her by not being able to start back at play group along with her peers and has resulted in the whole family not having a great summer holiday as one parent was always in hospital at Ivy's bedside or looking after her at home between hospital visits, unable to go out. This means that in the whole school summer holidays the days they've spent as a family have been very limited. Which has impacted her whole family especially her brother and sister.

Thank you for taking the time to read Ivy's story and anything that can be donated will be greatly recieved by her whole family.
